Hello and welcome to Air Surplus Parts. We’re not a huge corporation with thousands of employees. I’m an experienced aviation enthusiast who started selling airplane parts back in 1997. It all started with the the opportunity to buy a Stromberg Carburetor at an auction I happened to stumble upon. As an enthusiast at the time, it was at that auction back in 1997 where I found my love for specific and unique parts purely based on its craftsmanship and the stories behind them. That day, I ended up buying most of the smaller engine parts. Since then, I’ve travelled around America in search of high-quality and hard-to-find airplane parts. After almost 30 years in the industry, I’ve collected and sold many different parts. I’m now 74 years old and this business is a passion of mine – so much that it feels much more like a hobby I love than a job.
